Day 7: Glasglow Smile

Your blood is in my altar.  It’s mixed in with crushed bone and the rose petals you gave me to complete Hela’s piece.  You were sitting on my bed watching me paint and asked me if I’d include you in it.  So I mixed it all in and began brushing stroke after stroke.  Later in the evening I thought you were sleeping and I added more into the corners.  I place the goat jaw bones you brought inside and marked the entry to the doors.

I crawled into bed around 5 and slept until the scent of the cigarette you were smoking outside wafted in the room.  It was nearly Halloween, the veil was very thin.  You suggested we do readings later that evening and you went to do some shopping.  You came back with roses, crystal skull vodka, orange juice, a 40 oz of beer, and dinner.  We drank the entire bottle and didn’t get drunk.  We gave the best readings of our lives.

I remembering all of this as I wait for phone calls updating me on your health.  It doesn’t look good.  I already know your outcome.  I already felt you leave the building.

Light and dark.  On the light it was wonderful to see good friends at a party being filmed for French television.  On the dark I almost destroyed a friendship last night because I felt I was taken for granted and blamed.  Venus Rx you’re teaching some major life lessons here.
