We met Meredith for lunch and giggled throughout the day planning slumber parties and talking about magical happenings in our lives. I love when two friends meet and everyone falls in love.
It’s important to have these kinds of meetings, to talk about your pasts openly with kindred souls. There’s nothing more inspiring or nourishing in this world. It’s what keeps us going, moving, pushing to better our own lives. I’m lucky in this aspect to have a group of friends that wants to see their fellow artist grow and thrive.
And of course we talk about our friend Warren because without him none of us would have met. Mer and I conclude that for some of us he saved our lives.
Julia and I head to the witchy store after and buy supplies for the next night. We’re doing a ritual by the beach and then having a slumber party. You can’t come all the way to the other coast and not say hi to Yemaya.
Night brings more witchiness a little reiki and a late night walk through sleepy streets. I think I’ve settled in. We’re okay now, we’ve got balance.
The Canyon at Night
This flower only blooms at night.
Spider and the spirits of the canyon
Crocodile as totem
Tapping into the same energies with Julia in the canyon. We both felt and saw the same things. Native American spirits guarding the walkways. A young man accidentally dying in the 60’s or 70’s.
